Each quarter academy students read a book of their choice and share what they’ve learned through a short video presentation.

Studies have shown that reading can improve language skills, boost creativity, reduce stress levels, and enhance empathy. We created the Literary Book Assignment to encourage youth to adopt a lifelong habit of reading!

Submitting Your Presentation

Record a video of yourself presenting on your book selection. Your presentation should include:

(1) The title and author of your book

(2) Why you chose the selected book and,

(3) Three things you learned from reading your selection
